Gunnar is a long time friend of Cam’s dating back prior to their police academy. Gunnar and Cam were roommates (at several different locations) before and during the time Cam and Becca started dating. Gunnar and Becca share a love for jeep rides, The Dixie Chicks, karaoke, and Gunnar’s cat, Tito. You can expect Gunnar to be singing at the top of his lungs and showing off his dance moves, which may or may not be “up to par.”

Dan and Cam met pre-police academy. They were also roommates for a long period of time. In college, you would have found them anywhere together - just guys being guys! From partying to studying to having 3AM conversations in the bed of a pick up truck, Dan and Cam were always up to something. There’s a good chance Dan will bring his golf clubs to the venue, just in case he has a spare moment to practice his swing (he could use some tips)!

Austin has fortunately or unfortunately (depending on who you ask) known Cam his entire life. While it may take years to get through some of the horror stories of brotherly love, Austin has always been a person that Cam admires and looks up to as well as a person Cam can go to for advice, good or bad. With full SWAT tactics in place, Austin has also stepped into the role of the fun uncle (funcle). (Just ask Zach or Jack how to clear a room!) Austin will be the person you can expect on the dance floor, even if it means he has to dance while pushing a stroller for his daughter, Olivia!

Like the others, Sam and Cam met during the IU Police Cadet Program just prior to the police academy. Any time Sam and Cam are together, things tend to get…. weird. Body shots off each other seems to be a common theme amongst them. It is unknown who instigates the other guy, but both seem to follow suit of each other. It is extremely likely that before the night is over, Sam will be the life of the party (with no shirt on)!

Matt and Cam have been best buddies since 2019. Also having been roommates throughout the police academy, Matt and Cam always made a point to do things together, especially when it comes to food arrangements. If chicken was involved, Matt and Cam were undoubtedly in attendance together. Matt and Becca also got close as they shared music playlists and “sad boy” hours together. Matt might be found inside, especially if the sun is out. Apparently, Matt and the sun don’t mix well.

Anthony (Tony) is Becca’s younger brother and favorite traveling companion and confidant. For all of their lives, they’ve been close, but gotten especially close during numerous roadtrips across the country or traveling across both state and national parks. While it’s normally just been Becca and Tony, it didn’t take long for Cam and Tony to realize they were “brothers from another mother” and became immediate best friends. While traditionally, he should be on the Groom’s side, and it was long argued over where he was allowed to stand, ultimately, Becca won. While he’s been known to wear a dress or let his big sister dress him up, we expect him in the finest of suits for the ceremony.

Although, Lauren and Cam may have been friends first, throughout their college careers, Becca and Lauren became very close with each other after several trips together. It did not take long for Becca to steal Lauren (and her family) from Cam, texting, calling, zoom meetings, etc. Lauren and Becca share a love for the outdoors, exploring, and adventures. Whether that may be white water rafting, or hiking up to the Hollywood sign, Lauren is always there to make the journey more enjoyable. Be careful though, if Lauren sees you driving poorly, she is quick to give a big thumbs down! We are also thankful that there are no parking garages at the venue, for Lauren’s sake.

Married to Austin Wells, Maura shares the love for the Wells family just as Becca does. Similarly, Maura and Becca both refuse to listen to Austin’s (and Cam’s) song choices, such as “The Rattlin’ Bog.” Maura and Becca are the ones you can find sunbathing on a boat as they read their books. If they are not sunbathing and/or reading, they can be found walking the dogs together or be seen chasing children. At the wedding, if Maura isn’t running after her daughter, Olivia, she will be chasing Austin down to make sure he is behaving as well!

Angie and Becca have been long time friends and travel companions. These two can be found scuba diving, hiking, camping (yes, these two can back up a trailer), kayaking or just genuinely lost as neither bothers to read a map. While all of the Groomsmen may be police officers, Angie will be the first to help cover up a crime or be a get-away driver. At the wedding, you can find Angie with the list of names that aren’t allowed to have the microphone and enforcing it (list not to be published).

Aliya has known Becca since she was ten years old. Aliya married Becca’s oldest brother (since deceased) in 2005 and through trips, visits and being neighbors, became more than sister-in-laws, but sisters. Aliya will definitely cry, just assume she needs a tissue and hand her one.
